He also focuses on nutrition and healthy living, and partakes in regular exercise and fitness activities. Dr. Lawrence enjoys reading and learning, focusing mostly on study of the Bible and theology, and also in human sciences such as clinical nutrition and biochemistry.
Role: I am the Office Manager and I am thrilled to be a part of this ministry! I assist the doctor in patient care in many ways including researching patient insurance benefits, taking X-rays and operating the EMS therapy machines. I love getting to assist in helping our patients feel better!
Education: I graduated from Faulkner State Community College in 2011 with an Associate’s in Business Administration.
Experience: Previous to joining the Spanish Fort Chiropractic team in 2013, I worked in banking. I have a passion for serving people and felt lead to work for Spanish Fort Chiropractic. I have always wanted to work in the health field but was unable to find the right fit, until now!
Life Outside of Spanish Fort Chiropractic: I was born in Washington State, but being a preacher’s daughter, moved several times while growing up. Finally, I landed in Daphne, Alabama and married my husband, Joshua, in 2008. We are happily settled with our cats and, the newest addition, my horse Remy. Joshua and I love to go antiquing and visit the beautiful churches in Alabama. We attend church at Canterbury Chapel in Fairhope where my husband is the pianist.
Role: Recently, I joined the Spanish Fort Chiropractic team as a part-time assistant. It's a wonderful environment, and I am enjoying meeting all the patients. It's rewarding to be able to assist in patient care and share in their spinal health journey.
Education: Graduated for the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.
Experience: I have worked in hospital admissions, medical offices and a dental office. My primary work experience was in outside sales with a Fortune 200 company where I traveled all over our beautiful area.
Life Outside of Spanish Fort Chiropractic: I moved to Baldwin County in 1977, from Mississippi. I have two outstanding adult children that are a joy and blessing in my life. I love the outdoors and my cat. I volunteer at St Pauls' Episcopal Thrift Shoppe.
Role: I have joined the team as a part-time assistant in daily operations and feel very fortunate to work in such a warm, caring and outstanding patient focused environment. I work along-side Rebekah, Sandy and Dr. Lawrence assisting in patient services, pre-treatment therapies, taking and developing on-site x-rays and other clerical needs.
Education: Graduated high school in Colorado Springs, CO and attended Alexander City State Community College and Auburn University.
Experience: Through my career, I have worked for a Fortune 500 company in Jacksonville, FL managing marketing for three of their small business clients. In my “semi-retirement” I have worked part-time in office management with other companies that have influenced my health awareness, and ultimately led me to pursue a position where I can further my interests in health and nutrition.
Life Outside of Spanish Fort Chiropractic: My husband and I moved from Florida to Spanish Fort with his job in December of 2010 and truly love the area and the people. I spend a great deal of my available time outdoors and am accompanied by our two rescued Australian Sheppard–mix dogs in most activities including yard work, boating, sailing, hitting the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, running, hiking, backpacking and camping. We enjoy visiting our two adult sons, in Jacksonville, fairly often.
